We are pleased to congratulate Brett Foley, Ph.D. for having been one of seven individuals awarded the National Council of Architectural Registration Board’s (NCARB) highest honor, the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service. Brett was “recognized for his outstanding service to the Council and his leadership of the Nebraska Board of Engineers and Architects.”

Brett is the Psychometric Service & Industry Practice Lead & Senior Psychometrician here at Alpine and has worked with many types of testing programs in licensure, certification, and education. He received his Ph.D. in Quantitative, Qualitative, and Psychometric Methods from the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a past-president of the Northern Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association. He currently serves as a Consulting Editor for the Journal of Educational Psychology and on the Nebraska Board of Engineers and Architects as the Public Member. His research interests include standard setting, policy considerations in testing, and using visual displays to inform the test development process.
