Natalie Koziol, Ph.D.
Psychometrician II
Natalie serves in the role of Psychometrician II at Alpine Testing Solutions. She received her Ph.D. in Quantitative, Qualitative, and Psychometric Methods and M.S. in Statistics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to joining Alpine, she was a research associate professor for the Nebraska Academy for Methodology, Analytics and Psychometrics where she conducted research to support the development and validation of assessments of educational outcomes and experiences, and served as the lead statistician on large research grants. She has co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and chapters, including on topics such as item response theory and differential item functioning, and regularly presents at national conferences.
Fun Facts
Natalie enjoys doing puzzles and brain games (crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, Wordle, Worldle, Strands, Connections, anything in variety puzzle books), reading mysteries and historical fiction, watching sports, and being outside in any capacity. Natalie lives in Nebraska with her husband and three children, who keep her life very fun and very loud.
