Every program is unique, and many often share data between several systems. A major advantage to using CertMetrics is its ability to integrate with a variety of other systems. CertMetrics was designed to fit seamlessly into both an upstream and/or a downstream role with any number of third party software and systems. This provides integration flexibility as a program’s data management plan grows and matures. Although Alpine does not offer services such as test delivery or learning management, we are able to integrate with these providers, as well as a number of other systems your program might need such as:
Test Delivery Providers
Learning Management Systems
Reporting and Data Warehouses
Third Party Digital Badging Systems
Membership Management Systems
Association Management Systems
Big Data Analysis Tools
Payment and tax calculation interfaces
…and many more.
CertMetrics has several methods of receiving and sharing data with other systems:
Through our Universal Data Exchange, which is based on transferring traditional files via secure FTP. This method works extremely well for transferring large quantities of data to be batch-processed daily, weekly, monthly, or according to a custom schedule. Additionally, the standard files used in our Universal Data Exchange can be easily opened in any word processor or spreadsheet application for easy data manipulation and reporting by our psychometricians or your program staff.
Through the CertMetrics Web Services API. Web Services grants API clients and vendors near-real-time access to post and retrieve data on-demand. This access to data is enormously powerful, especially when integrating CertMetrics data into your website, association management platform, or support portal. This unprecedented level of access will give your program and vendors all the data you’ll need with one simple click.
CertMetrics also supports both candidate and user Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities to provide a seamless user experience while moving between systems. CertMetrics supports leading SSO technologies for secure, problem-free transfer of candidates and users between systems. Visit our Add On Modules page and see our section on SSO to learn more.
