Jill R. van den Heuvel, Ph.D.
Jill is a Senior Psychometrician at Alpine Testing Solutions. She actively participates in and presents at national conferences and holds leadership roles with professional organizations including AERA, ATP, and NCME. She is currently serving on the Assessment Task Force with the National Deaf Center. Prior to joining Alpine Testing Solutions she was a Research Scientist at CTB/McGraw-Hill focusing on Alternate Assessments for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities; an adjunct professor teaching Introduction to Psychological Statistics at Kean University; and a Psychometrician at ETS® focusing on the SAT® program. She earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Research Methodology from the University of Pittsburgh. Her research interests include small sample analyses, security analyses, and analyses related to differing samples within a “singular” population. Getting to meet and work directly with clients is a real highlight of her position.
Jill is an indoor lacrosse goalie who also enjoys knitting in her spare time. When not playing or watching lacrosse she is likely knitting or spending time with her husband and pets.
