The content domain to be measured should be clearly defined and aligned with the purpose of the test as defined in the program and test design. Guided by test developers, subject matter experts and key program stakeholders are guided through any number of procedures, such as a job task analysis or evaluation of curriculum standards, to define the domain to be measured. The results of a job/domain analysis provide the foundation for validity evidence in support of score interpretation and use of test scores.
