Technology Product Specialist II

  • Location: Virtual
  • Reporting to: Product Director, Technology Solutions
  • Status: Full-time, Salary

Position Description

The Technology Product Specialist will collaborate with other members of the Product & Service Management team in executing strategy and achieving goals related to product lifecycle management. This role supports products from conceptualization to go-to-market and conducts day-to-day technical maintenance activities across the company technology portfolio. The role focuses on tasks related to software/product task management, software/tool/platform support, technical logistics/testing, software/documentation development, standardized and technical infrastructure development, and tool development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing to ensure quality control of product features and functionality, maintenance tasks, and bug fixes as well as testing associated with integration build outs and epics
  • Assist in scoping functional specifications
  • Contribute to product road map maintenance, including timelines, task assignments, and status updates
  • Support localization tasks driven by feature and integration build outs
  • Organize and support maintenance of product documentation
  • Manage technical project management tasks and timelines in support of standard product development and maintenance and custom client solution design
  • Monitor status and identify scope creep across Product & Service Management-managed workspaces, including feature buildouts, maintenance, backlog, and custom client requests
  • Manage, organize, maintain, and triage Product & Service management workspaces, including task review, resource assignment, task status, and task resolution
  • Collaborate internally to provide product and client support/documentation for third-party
    partner platforms, including development platform implementation and delivery integrations

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or relevant work experience)
  • 3-5 years industry experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product management or technical program management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with project management tools
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with usability and functionality testing and optimization practices
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with drafting of functional requirements and documentation
  • Up to 25% travel

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Alpine’s suite of technological product solutions
  • Experience within the testing industry
