Assist in the design of architecture and hardware for business units (corporate, technology, consulting, and business development)
Manage architecture and hardware
Provision and manage hardware and software
Perform ongoing system updates, migrations, etc.
Provide recommendations for managing system and architecture issues
Participate in quality control processes and procedures
Participate in and contribute to project retrospectives
Serve as a resource to all internal staff on technical and system requests
Provide technical training and documentation to guide Technology Solutions staff
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent knowledge of:
Microsoft Windows Server
Hyper V Server
Excellent written and verbal communication
Time management skills
Ability to adapt
Ability and willingness to learn new things
Ability to work in a virtual environment (e.g., self-starter, disciplined, troubleshooting)
7-10 years of experience as a System Administrator
Experience migrating to cloud services (AWS and/or Azure)
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology field or similar experience
5-7 years of experience as a System Administrator
Experience in prevailing industry standard practices (DR, HA, etc..)
Experience in prevailing industry standard security practices (2FA/MFA, HIDS/NIDS, logging analysis, InfoSec, etc.)
Up to 25% travel
