C#.Net Software Developer

  • Status: Full-time, Salary

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and update custom and new system features
  • Provide ongoing technical support to Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and clients
  • Perform ongoing system development tasks
  • Provide recommendations for managing complex data and system issues
  • Participate in quality control processes and procedures
  • Participate in and contribute to project retrospectives
  • Contract work
    • Assist in the evaluation of client needs as directed by the architect
    • Collaborate with Business Development Manager (BDM) and Technical Program Manager (TPM) to develop a work plan as directed by the architect
    • Contribute to, review, and revise proposals as needed
    • Collaborate with Technical Program Manager (TPM) and Role Leads to identify additional staff resources who will be assisting with the project
  • Provide indirect consultation through internal staff and documentation to clients on a variety of development topics
  • Serve as a resource to all other internal staff on technical and system requests
  • Provide technical training and documentation to guide technology solutions staff

Competencies

  • Microsoft C#.Net
  • Entity Framework
  • Experience building complex APIs and web applications with a focus on performance and security
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Effectively work as a member of a high performing team
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment (e.g., self-starter, disciplined, troubleshooting)

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This position has minimal supervisory responsibilities

Travel

  • Up to 10%

Required Education and Experience

  • 2-3 years of computer programing experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or 1-2 years additional experience

Preferred Education and Experience

  • GraphQL
  • Working knowledge of Angular or similar web development experience
  • Regression, unit, or other code testing methodologies
  • Experience in the testing industry
  • Comfortable working with client representatives (technical and non-technical)
  • Effectively working in a virtual team
