Alpine Testing Solutions Presents
at 2011 NRMERA Conference
Lincoln, NE – Several members of the Alpine Testing Solutions (Alpine) will be presenting at the 2011 Northern Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association (NRMERA) Annual Conference. The conference will be held October 6-7, at the Snow King Resort in Jackson Hole, WY.
The research focuses on practical considerations in test development and validation within educational assessment programs. The three papers range from program design to alignment to standard setting. Ms. Myisha Stokes will be presenting, “A proposed strategy for evaluating social desirability among panelists in alignment studies.” Ms. Deirdre Lupher will be presenting, “Evaluating the Stability of Cut Scores in a Statewide Assessment System.” Additionally, Dr. Brett P. Foley, President-elect of NRMERA, will be presenting, “Validity by Design: A Validity-Centered Assessment Development Approach.” Interested parties may contact the authors directly for copies of their papers and presentations.

The Northern Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association (NRMERA) is a regional affiliate of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). NRMERA membership is drawn mostly from researchers and educators in the Rocky Mountain states, but welcomes all interested researchers and educators. NRMERA hosts an annual conference that meets in Jackson Hole, WY on odd years and rotates among the member states in even years.
